Taking leather off of the headrest? HELP?

So I am taking my headrests in to get embroidered but I need to get the leather off. I have looked all over Camaro5 for instructions on how to do this, and this is the only set of instructions i can find
__________________________________________________ _______________

Step one - Take the headrest off. To do this, just pull up on the headrest like you normally would to adjust it, and when it stops, push in on the button to release the headrest.

Step two - Take the leather off. To do this, look on the back underneath side where the crease is located; there you will see a plastic bar that is holding it on. You have to push in and then down on the bar. It can be a little tricky but not too difficult. Once you have this done, it is pretty straightforward; undo the velcro piece, and clip a couple stitches if you have them...no worries, it wont effect the re-installation

Step three - Pull the leather off and ship it out...

But I still can't seem to figure out how to get the leather off. Can anyone tell me how to take the leather off, without using the instructions above...I know I am probably being stupid about this, but I have been at it for about a half hour and still can't seem to figure it out! Thanks!

Trust me, getting them off is the easy part. Sliding the new head rest on is easy too, I didn't need to do the plastic bag trick, but snapping the pieces back together is fairly tough.

If you look at the 3 pictures below, you can get an idea of how they're put together. Basically, there is a plastic track on one side and a plastic blade on the other. The blade is tucked into the slot and the whole thing is twisted 180°.

The two flaps on the side are pretty easy to put on and take off.
