Well, after the dealership screwed up my original order (which had a TPW 8/6), they placed a new order for me. It appears that I am now TPW 8/27. Who else is in my group?

EnjoyLife - Car made it home 9/15/12

LowFlyer - Car made it home 9/17/12

93B4C - Car made it to dealership 9/18/12

Will go home 10/2/12
syn_fan - Car made it home 10/8/12

kmmink - Car made it home 9/27/12

Just notified by Becky this morning mine has a TPW 8/27.

RS pkg.
AGM
Polished rims
Hurst Shifter
Painted GE

.....just the basic to start modding.

Earlier today her eminence Becky gave me 8/27 for my TPW.

I ordered a "stripped" black 1SS for the SLP Panther conversion.

Anyone else in for next week?

Looks like Lowflyer and I think a lot alike.

Weird thing, I couldn't order in AGM and get the spoiler or grill from the factory. Yet I could order them through the parts dept. They are a dealer install so all the factory would be doing is putting the boxes in the car before it shipped.

My dealer gave me a discount on them so it actually came out a few dollars cheaper than having them as options on the car. Only thing is I need to install them myself. But that doesn't look too bad. I already watched the videos and pic tutorials in the DIY forum.

Can't wait. I'm in CA so I'm sure you guys in the mid-west and east will get yours first.

Well, if either way there's no spoiler, I know the dealer will be giving me a painted and installed spoiler @ car ordered prices!!!

You need to do a little research. Get to know what is standard equip. and what the options are. All new camaro's come with a rear spoiler. The blade spoiler is a option to give you a different look. You would be surprised how many buyers know more about the camaro than the sales people.

You are absolutely right. The salesman at my dealer is an old friend, and we were joking about how I knew way more than the fleet manager about the camaro.

Lowflyer you will get a spoiler. Like tjr said, mine is an optional one.

Since a lot of the 8/6 and 8/13 builds were running late, and it doesn't look like many of the 8/20's got built, you may have to wait an extra week.

I'm in this group! TPW 8/27!

Hopefully productions are catching up or even better, caught up from previous weeks. I haven't yet asked Becky for a status update because production has been running behind for the last few weeks.

I don't think I can hold out much longer and will probably ask her for an update today.

Has anyone requested a status update this week? If so, any good news, as in 3800 - Vehicle Produced?

I haven't bothered Becky this week yet

I don't see anyone in this group with a VIN yet. Maybe we will get lucky in today's, or tomorrow's, build!
