Documenting the 2012 Woodward Dream Cruise thru my camera
Well it is another year. Time to document the 2012 Woodward Dream cruise with plenty of photos.
Today was the first night out there for me this week. Tuesday August 14th. You would have thought by the crowds it was already Thursday or even Friday. This year is going to be even larger for sure by the early crowds. I will reserve some extra posts to have all the photos run on this page for now. These are by all means not my best photos. I was on the wrong settings and didn't notice. I hate when I do that mistake.

August 15th Wednesday. I arrived on Woodward just after 5 PM. Met up with many of the Detroit 5th Gen club members thru out the evening. Including Becky and Joe from Rodgers Chevrolet. Tonight was only Wednesday, but with the traffic out there you would have thought it was already Friday night.

August 16th, Thursday. The day that the GM Performance Division cruises Woodward. As like in years past they meet at a designated location and gather for a while. Mingling with all those who attend. The first to role out on Woodward this year was the Camaro's, followed closely by the Corvettes, and finally the Cadillacs, which helped hold traffic long enough to allow over 40 Camaro's, another 30+ Corvettes, exit out onto Woodward. There is nothing cooler than seeing a line of Camaro's 4 wide and over 10 deep rolling together on Woodward.
Enjoy.

Friday, August 17th. Sorry it took a while to get these loaded. You know haw hard it is to go thru 850 photos and decide on only 250. I went thru those photos at least 6 times making cut.
It was a FANTASTIC day. Weather was TERRIFIC. 75 and partly cloudy. Many from the Detroit 5th Gen club met up at Memorial Park and parked together (as we will on Saturday too). From our parking spots to where we sat on the curb was about 150 yards away. Enjoy.

Saturday August 18th. The LARGEST ONE DAY EVENT IN THE WORLD.
Today I left the house at 7:30 AM with my son. Arrived at Memorial park at 8 AM. Thank - you to Chevrolet and Becky, Joe, Maureen and Gerry at Rodger's Chevrolet, we had many of our Detroit5th gen club members parking inside the special area. We received our goodie bags, which include the Dream Cruise special edition Hot Wheel Chevelle. We got posters and T-shirts too. Food was available to all of us after 10 AM. Serving up many different style prepared hot dogs, along with a few other snacks, and ice cream. Today I decided to concentrate my photos more on the unusual things. As I did not want to ruffle threw over 850 photos again. Today's total was just over 200. So here are the remaining photos from the 2012 Woodward Dream Cruise. Enjoy.

Last ones. If you look closely above the "Food and Kroger" sign in the back ground you can see the motorcycle folks from the monster drink group performing tricks in the parking lot. They were there on Friday and Saturday doing this throughout the day.
