Was anybody able to use the GM Supplier Discount on the Camaro? I was approved and given an authorization number, but dealer said i couldn't use it

Dealer's choice. Give it six months and they will be lining up to sell a Camaro to you at Supplier pricing.

I was able to get employee pricing. I originally placed an order in the beginning of April with a dealer who said "we'll see if GMS/employee pricing is available when your car comes in." Ended up stopping at another dealer at the beginning of May to see their dealer car. Told them I'd switch my order to them if they'd give me employee pricing in writing. They checked with the manager, who said they were only doing it on a cases by case basis (it is their choice), but they would for me. Called up original dealer and asked them to match, and they wouldn't so I cancelled and went with the one who would. New dealer called today to say my Camaro has been pulled for production!

I got GMS on mine ,but it hasn't been built yet.It is at 3400.

My dealer would not allow it on preorders, but I could use it if I had ordered another Camaro in May and wait all over again. I ended up saving more by using my GM Card points anyway, and those can not be used with Supplier discount.

My dealer said I could use it if I qualified for it but I'll actually save $80 by going with MSRP combined with the GM Card discount instead of the Supplier Discount price.

I'm trying to locate a dealer that is willing to give it to me as well and so far no luck. I'm in the Los Angeles area and am willing to drive to San Diego for the discount. Can you PM me or post what dealer it was? Thanks in advance!

I am eligible for both the GM employee discount ( Family member a GM retiree ) and the GM Supplier discount ( I work for a company that is a GM supplier ). Best I could do in my local area in eastern TN was pre-order a car and dealer will split the Supplier discount with me. At 3400 still waiting for my 2010 2SS/RS RJT Black leather Camaro.
