GM may be on strike!

Canadian Auto Workers voted at 96% in favor of a strike against GM, if
their demands are not met. So if your waiting, like me, for your new Camaro you may be in for a long wait.

Maybe It left just in time?

Union politics..... read as - meaningless.

Get concerned when there is something to be concerned about.

Current contract about to expire, all kinds of posturing takes place before every contract negotiation.

The sky is not falling, grown men and women are just playing childish games. Happens every contract year, pay no attention and enjoy your car.

I hope GM can bust those unions if not GM will be bankrupt again. The auto workers should be glad they even have a job and shut up!

As an executive board member in a union......I resent that! Its that mentality that will destroy North America !
I guess you feel people in North America can live on Chinese,Mexican etc slave wages,no benefits,12 hour days? Lets turn North America into a 3rd world ! So big business can make more profits at peoples expense!

P.S. We have some really good union people here, that went out of their way to sign stuff and put it in our cars!

Unions served thier purpose many years ago... but now they are just money hungry, letting people not show up for work for weeks, not put forward any work effort when they actually are there... why? Because they know they have the union and they wont get fired even if they dont do what they are paid to do.

How old are you, I don't think you know what you are talking about, without the unions you wouldn't be able to afford your Camaro, or anything else, and your life would be no where...................... JRJ

Unions are a touchy subject....I personally don't like them, and they do serve a purpose, but as a former union worker, they also bleed companies dry and lazy workers keep there jobs to long because of them. The Dems love them and the Dems lean toward socialism, so do the math....

Let me rephrase that, there are plenty of good people on this site but some of them belong to a union and most of them are forced to....Its legalized extortion!...BUST THE UNIONS!
