Misfiring on 2011 V6 out of nowhere!

I filled up my gas at a station I've never used on Aug 16th (reg unleaded from a Coleman Oil Station) and later drove home (a couple of miles) without notice of anything out of the ordinary. The Camaro sat over the next four days as I went camping using my winter car (F*rd Expy) and when I started the Camaro up it was running extremely rough, both in idle and while driving. Had to park it and drive the winter car to work.

Started the Camaro up today and same issue, idling very rough, driving very rough, no power, sounds like crap. Took it to my near-by Oreilly's and ran the computer tester which showed two error codes:
P0300 - random cylinder misfire
P0301 - cylinder 1 misfire

If I didn't have a full-full tank of gas I would consider trying to drain it myself and replace with Shell or Conoco.

I would doubt that the bad BP gasoline had made its way to the Pacific NW, although Coleman Oil who supplies the gasoline to this station does contract several manufacturers of gasoline to acquire low prices...

If bad gasoline does turn out to be the culprit, can anyone provide me with engine or exhaust components that I should have replaced or thoroughly inspected? I would like to have an idea of damage control when discussing it with the dealer.

I am sorry to hear of this! Please let us know how everything goes at the dealership. If you have any existing concerns after the appointment, we will be glad to research them further!

Which catchcan are you running? The oil ingestion is one of the #1 cuases of this. Look at the bottom of the intake manifold snout (just behind the throttle body mount) and there is a cast in sump to cathc some of the oil....when it gets partially full some big sluprps of oil get pulled in all at once causing the misfires.

Pull your TB off and stick your finger into it and see how much oil is there. May be that simple.
