so it finally happened a lady got ou of her lane on a 2 way and hit me when I was on my way to get pizza I had no room to get out of the way due to railing on my right side all I could do was stop. what do you guys think totaled? I submited a claim with alstate and am going to speak with an adjustor thursday at 2.

Wow.... If the airbags deployed then probably. They're looking at an RS headlight, front bumper, fender, hood, and that's just what I can see. Figure in paint and labor and that's pretty high.

Considering it's a newer car though the repair could still be cheaper.

Oh and is your car also leaking fluid from the front? Looks like it in one of the pics

Definitely not totaled. Looks like a good amount of damage considering they skuffed your rim, tore up your fender, broke the Halo projector beam light, among other damages to the body. As long as you are okay, that is the important part.
I know how you are probably feeling(

), but they can do amazing work to make it look like it was never hit. Hang in there!

Yes it is leaking fluid :/, no air bag deployed, and no I was calm and talked with the lady got her on audio admitting she was looking at her phone when she hit me. She destroyed my led side marker led halo headlights, zl1 front bumper and my hop is slightly damaged. I feel so sad about this because I have no money to replace what the insurance doesn't cover. Also keep in mind this is an ls

The bad part is the mods that were destroyed. You definetly won't get compensated for that. I don't know how your ins. company will price the front bumper. Is the ZL1 upgrade the same price as the LS front-end?

The best part is that you're alright and you got the other driver admitting total fault even though it is pretty apparent here. They might even replace your mods if your neck starts hurting soon

Sorry to hear this, but since its 100% her fault her insurance company has to put the car back to the way it was before the wreck including mods. At least that what happened when someone hit me on my old car

Two rules when talking to her insurance company. 1) Never admit you were not hurt or dont need to see a doctor. 2) never admit you are not speaking to a lawyer. You don't have to lie but don't let them off the hook either. If you do, you're screwed (as in nice guys get...). Been there and did that.

They are required by law to make you whole. Any inkling that they intend to use you to keep their rates low (used parts, not blending the paint, not replcing mods you have proof of,etc.) then I would lawyer up... fast.

Don't let the adjuster undersell you, fight for the repair not the totaling. Get several estimates and a lawyer. Everyone will try and take a little out from under you, I don't believe you should have to pay a dime to replace what you had.
