I've been researching this like crazy and there's a few options, smaller sc pulley which many of the sponsors on here carry and also changing out the crank pulley to overdrive the blower. It seems if you go too big on the crank to like a 10.00" you have to also change out the ac pulley and idlers. Hope this helps, Im still trying to learn all this with the zl1 as well.

They are not actually underdriver pulleys. In fact, they would realy be looked at as supercharger overdrive pulleys. We make a set of uppers that work with the blower and with with Innovators West on the lower setups. There are a lot of options depending on the blower speed someone wants.

I'm wanting to run about 14-15 psi, what combo do I need for this? Where does the pcm shut off and bleed excess boost? I thought I read something about that as well.

If you want 15 psi, be prepared to run meth or get a new H/X setup. Your IAT2s will be through the roof on the stock setup.

TVS blowers really dont have a lot of whine to them unfortunately. I used to have an Ion Redline (same thing as the Cobalt SS) and I put a TVS on there, and I couldnt hear it at all. Produced way more boost than the stock M62, but didnt offer much in the sound department. You might hear it if you were driving against a wall, but out in the open, No. Yes, you would need a tune for increased boost. I dont know what stock boost is on a ZL1, but no matter what pulley you put on, the computer wont let boost go over its set point. Same with my Ion.

My tuner told me the best way was to put a full pully kit(crank, blower, idler) to get the ratio wher he wants it. He is also porting the blower and snout. It's going to create alot of heat so I'm opting for the super chiller. Should keep everything cool, he said it will keep an aggressive time and should keep heat soak down. That was my main concern.

To get 15lb boost, you will need to swap both the crank and supercharger pulleys.
9.1 crank and 2.55 SC pulley. Aspire performance is located in Austin. That's where I purchased my gear from.
