Fresh out of the rain vin:8049

Well it wasn't the best day to pick her up with the rain but I couldnt wait any longer. Showed up to dealer at 8 am to see her still all wrapped up in plastic and fresh out of shop from her PDI. Shes a 2ss with factory installed white strips and IO interior. Was sapose to be RS to but gm and there shity ordering program drops my rs package and ya we won't even go there. I was however able to purchase it at gms from my dealership. Only 140 miles on her so far but man what a ride!!!

Nice car!!! You must have listened to Camaro Scotty warning others that when changes are made the RS package will drop off. You made have needed to go over everything with your dealer when they called you JUST to make sure it was done the way you wanted. I'm not giving you a hard time just letting you know a lot of people have been warned on here about the RS package being deleted when changes are made.

Ya I know about that. This was something totally different gm actually had a case number on it all of the camaro at the dealership got there rs packaged changed droped for some reason and i never even changed my order. They couldnt tell us why it happened or anything just that mine was in production before it got caught.

This is the 2nd instance I have read of someone's Camaro being delivered without the RS package when it should have had it. The other person did not accept the car, and they had to order a replacement. I have no idea how long you would have to wait for your car had you decided to do that, but if I were you I would not want to find out either. I am glad you at least got some price concessions to try and make up for the mistake on the order. Your car looks great.

Uh, don't you mean "accept?"

Woudln't except , would accually mean you would accept it. (Except versus accept).

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

GM was willing to build me another car and insured it could be here in 4 months. However with everything gm is going through right now and dealers getting closed and living in mn I wasn't going to wait 4 more months for this car. Were lucky if we get a good 4 months of nice weather the way it is now haha.

Congrats! ....But if it didn't have the RS Package I would not have taken it. I mean I wanted a sunroof but I can live without that. But I cannot live without those beautiful HID lights with the Halos. But hey, damn all that stuff I'm talking. You got your car. You're happy. Now enjoy it and be prepared to be harrassed everywhere you go by the unofficial car paparazzi.
