Haha what's your deal? Who cares if it's an SS?? Look at this guys bezels- they are painted black, and he has a custom exhaust. He likes to mod his car, get over it? Is there a rule that V6ers can't mod their cars ?

Carbon fiber is cosmetic more than anything. you're not going to see any track or racing difference because you have a carbon fiber anything. If you use that as an argument for why you buy CF parts, then IDK what to tell you pal. Carbon fiber is known as looking better, and being higher end than just plastic. Hence the inserts that are exposed CF on the ZL1 hoods cost MORE than the unexposed ones, even though both are CF.

Now if it were me, I wouldn't leave the whole trunk CF like that, but if he were to paint it IBM he could leave come CF exposed to make for some good looking stripes.

It's a Great looking car man you shouldn't be hating on it. My car might as well be as bad as this one if you really hate modding.

Totally agree about CF being cosmetic 99% of the time. Especially when most it are cars is aluminum. I do know that switching to Seibon's CF doors saves about 70 pounds though. Now is 70 pounds worth four grand? Not to me personally.

Personally, I am a big fan of carbon fiber. For looks, not weight savings.
