Neiman Marcus $$$
I can't believe how much they want for the Neiman Marcus special edition. I Dailey check Cars.com's inventory for new camaros in central Ohio. One thing that keeps standing out are these 3 2011 Neiman Marcus camaros for $55,000 that haven't sold yet? Guess they over thought that one! Lol
They also have a 2011 for $75,000 wonder what that car is packin under the hood? |

There were a few (~5... Out of only 100?!) on the East Coast over here a few weeks back. They also were asking around that.

$75k was original (over)price... Wayyyy too much for the special paint and accents. Only reason someone would want one was for the NM name on it. Nothing "special" under the hood - was based on the 2SS.

Uh sir, what are you talking about? Cincy is doing just fine.... Remember we didn't get hurt during the recession nearly as bad or for the fact anywhere as close as other people did. Infact my parents home increased in value significantly. |

I would certainly agree with that. I'm in the cinncinnati area and things r about as well as can b expected. It's not all perfect and back to normal, but sure isn't a struggling economy.

I moved from Cleveland in 1997, for Oregon for a six month job. Second week there, I knew I was never moving back to Ohio, let alone Cleveland.
As soon as I moved to Oregon, I got a raise : no sales tax, no city tax and everything worked as well as before, the roads were as crummy or good, garbage was picked up, and all has been wonderful. One downside is the cost of housing, the house I was had in Portland that I sold for $265k would sell for $78k in Parma or one of those God forsaken suburbs. Also, no salt on the roads as it doesn't snow so much, just in the mountains and I don't live there. Nice to visit, oh yeah, so is 300 miles of the Pacific Ocean. Lastly, everyone in Ohio tries to flee the central cities, don't care which ones, everyone but some "yuppie urban pioneers" tries to get out of Dodge. Not so much on the West Coast, the closer in to downtown the more $$$. Oh yeah, Portland used to have (cancelled for lack of sponser) but it had a Midnight Bike ride from downtown Portland around the city, about Midnight to 3am, last full moon in July. It was awesome, and safe. Try that in Cleveland, Columbus, Youngstown, Akron, Toledo, the ride's name would be "Race for Your Fricking Life", as not so safe in any of those towns, day or night. Okay, thanks for jogging some memories. How's the turnpike doing, is it toll-free now that the bonds were paid off in 1984, as they originally promised.............ha. |

+1 - I use to work in downtown Toledo and befriended a number of cops that told me that if you ever sense danger, run as many red lights as you have too to get away.
