Ghost cam story

When I went to get my oil changed, I had the cruise control button on so that the ghost cam was off. As I am sitting in the waiting room, I hear someone quietly revving a car from what sounded to be up to around 3k rpms.

I come out because I know it was my car that was getting revved, and the tech comes out of the car and said man there is something wrong with your car and that he was revin it because the idling was rough. I already paid so I said "no, theres nothing wrong at all." I turn the car on and the tech is just waiting to see what I was going to do. I let the ghost cam do its work and I simply just turned it off and drove away while the guy was staring at me weirdly. He had no idea haha.

I didnt want to tell him that it was a tune because he could tell the dealership and void my warranty. Thats why I was kinda mean by leaving without saying anything. Felt bad but whatever.

I had a coupon for them to do the 27 point inspection and an oil change for free. so I figured why not?

I wouldn't drive my car with a tune like that in effect to the dealer. Just asking for trouble. Oil changes are cheap but you gave the dealer a chance to take notice. Hopefully it wasn't put together by them. Ghost cam can be turned off so a oil change should include this option.
