Interior Question

I have seen some people have painted all the interior grey trim the color of their car. I was wondering why GM didn't do it like this from the factory? and how hard is it to do? I really want to do it but am afraid i will break pieces. and is there an exact color match for victory red like in a spray can?

It's not hard at all, only tricky ones are the steering bezel because of the airbag and the door inserts because you have to pull the panel off and buy a new set of screws to reattach the insert after painting

I'm almost done painting my interior and I've done it all myself only tool you really will need is a pry tool or flathead screw driver, I just wrapped it in a paper towel so I don't scratch or chip anything while removing them

Bunch of DIY threads on here on how to do it. Not hard at all if you're planning to do the door inserts and dash strips.

Yes skill wise not hard I just meant that it's not as simple as just popping clips and removing like the speedo bezel or gauge pack

GM did some of them. My wife wanted me to buy an orange one from out of state that had orange trim in the interior.

Correct, GM did do a lot. The only problem was you could only get them in yellow and maybe orange.

Duplicolor makes a spray touch up paint in Victory Red. I got mine at Autozone.

Orange for sure. My wife showed me the pictures of one online. It looked really good and she would have liked me to have a car that isn't red for a change.

I'm glad it's not factory like that. I much prefer the neutral looking cloth on panels in my car. More damage resistant as well. That's pretty much why GM didn't do it. Well that and cost.
