How do you tell if you have belt slip on maggie?

Just as the title states how do I detect if I have belt slip on my maggie.
I do not have a boost gauge...can it be seen on dyno chart?

If the dyno is equipped with a boost gauge then yes. The tuner should also be able to see if you have belt slippage by looking at his scanner while doing WOT pulls if he knows what to look for.

You can get a cheapy mechanical boost gauge,
plug it to the boost port on the manifold
tape the gauge to the windshield
& drive.

How much boost do you suspect you are producing?

Im only making 9lbs...just a thought i had while @ work...u
I mean common sense tells me the pulley should make "X" amount of boost and just monitor boost gauge....but I dont have one...So there is no visual signs of belt slip to look for ...It was just a thought. Thanks

Do you log your car? I log my manifold pressure using SCT. Just recently learned that I have real bad belt slip. On the initial hit I only make 11, it hangs around 13 from 2nd gear through third then finally gets near the mid 15's. I hope the belt is stretched. It's been on all season. It use to get up to 17 psi. I can see it in my 60's. They went from 1.44's to 1.5's. New belt is on and ready to log. This is the last chance with the Maggie. I'm about to switch blowers.

Ahhhh! Don't say that lol. Hopefully I'm good. I'm only at 12psi right now.

You need to select the pid that's labeled absintkman. Or something similar. That's boost. It's measured in kpa. I have the conversion chart if you need it. 100 is 0 boost. Above that is boost, below is vacuum. It's great to watch. Pretty interesting.

I wish. I'm still hunting another 9. This blower isn't cooperating so it's gotta go.

I only want 8-850 rwhp. Nothing close to what the fast cars make.
