LS Wheels ONLY on the rear of my SS

Has anyone tried to fit the 18" steel wheels from an LS only on the rear of an SS?

I'm looking at my options for 18's for my next set of drag tires...I'll keep the stock SS wheels at all 4 corners for the street, and the front wheels won't be changed for drag racing.

I'm pretty sure they won't clear the Brembos. I don't know of anyone that uses them so that kinda goes to show no bueno. Cheapest option is a set of the c6z06 replicas.

Yeah, I'm not really looking for cheap...just don't like the look of the ZO6 stuff.

Did you fit 17's on your car with V6 rear brakes?

I have both 16" and 17" Bogarts. The 17" will fit over the Brembos. To run the 16" you need the v6 brakes.

I just put the 17's on Teds ZL and they bolt up with no issues. On an SS you will need to tie back the ebrake cable. It's not a big deal at all.
