I assume you're going to do some mods to it and then enter. Correct? I mean now it's a pretty rare car, but 6 months to a year from now you'll most likley see a bunch of them on the streets.

If I did some pretty cool mods and things I would enter it. If it's mostly factory I don't see why you would.

Car Shows

For this first year, I am going to try and take both my Camaros to show off at local Car Shows. I know that I will have to have the help of my son to drive one of them to the Car Shows, but I am sure he is willing. I want to have First Generation and Fifth Generations side by side. Still waiting for my 2010 RJT 2SS.

I entered mine in LA invasion, didn't win... everyone crowded my car though, i suspect the judges didn't want to show favoritism for the new 5th gen...

IMO, everything on the car should have a reason for being there if it's worthy of a win, unless it's a classic, then if it's totally stock & immaculate it should deserve a win. Just going out & taking your car to the show (maybe a Ferrari Enzo, Bugatti Veyron, one of the first Camaro's) & it being rare shouldn't be good enough.

I take my Saturn Sky to shows and have taken 1st of Best in Class.......Roadsters.

As long as the car shows have a catagory for newer cars. Car shows are changing, it always used to be just older cars, but now it is more about unique looking rides. Modifications are cool, but with a car as rare as the SKY it draws a ton of attention still. There is a local show at my Chevy dealer tomorrow and I am entering my SKY by request of one of the guys running the show.
