How to track?

Hey guys, I ordered a 2013 1LT Camaro through a dealer, not through Chevy and wanted to know how I could track the car. I ordered it about 4 weeks ago, but he said that my car would be built on Sept 16. Then I recieved a VIN number of the car on Sept 12.

I have two questions:
1)How do you track your car?
2)What does the VIN number mean? My car is built already?

There are a few ways you can track your car.

A. You can take your VIN and order number to the dealership.
B. You can visit this website: http://www.chevrolet.com/order-tracking.html and enter in the appropriate fields.
C. You can visit this thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=order+status

Also, if you have a VIN number, the car has been produced.

I hope this information was helpful!

That information helps me out a lot. My next question is how do I obtain the order number? Do I get it from my dealership?

If you could please provide me with your VIN, I should be able to pull an order number for you!

I did not pick it up yet, since my dad demanded the third key for the car when he bought it, and they still have not made it. So we are waiting on them to make the third key, then we will go and pick it up

My order number is QQDN9W. My order was accepted a few days ago. I know my dealership got the allocation for my ZL1, so what's next in the process and how long will it take from here? Any information is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
