"Hyper-miling:" For Camaro owners, too...

So I decided to see what I could squeeze out of my 1LT...

1) I don't exceed 60 MPH... this really irritates people in the passing/ left lanes, but there's less speed fluctuation from merging traffic over there
2) I assist all starts from a stop by opening the door, and pushing with my foot
3) I dropped a dozen of those "Magic Fuel Pills" into my tank
4) I mix gasoline and water in the blender, until it "froths up..." about a 50/50 mix seems best
5) Installed magnetic mileage enhancement devices on fuel lines
6) Only drive during the daytime, so alternator resistance from powering headlights is not substantial... and no radio or wipers, of course
7) Consume diuretics before driving, in order to evacuate as many fluids from my body, thus reducing weight
8) Threw my spare tire out on the side of the road... who needs THAT extra weight?
9) Refuse passengers, so no EXTRA weight... wife HATES it when I drive, and she and the kids have to walk, or take the Maverick
10) I only drive SOUTH... all northbound travel is done by loading the car onto a flatbed car hauler (I noticed on the map that south is downhill, north is uphill... duh)
11) Placed a block of wood under the gas pedal, so that even if I have a momentary lapse of reason and put my foot into it, I can only get about 1500 RPMs out of it
12) Aired the tires up to 90 PSI. A couple of them got a little bulgy, but, whatever...
13) Never use AC or roll windows down
14) Pulled four of my plug wires off, so I'm running on two cylinders

However, none of those things really worked at all, so I just snapped a pic after resetting my "Average Fuel Economy" setting, and then coasting along on a downhill...

I was thinking about a custom bumper sticker for my truck that says "warning, ultra slow acceleration, gas is too expensive"

I drive it around like a grandpa, which nets me around 15mpg.

7 is the best, but you should wait an hour before driving.
