Century transmission "SUPER 6L80"
Well on labor day weekend I blew my trans..... So after research and several calls I decided to use century trans and get there super 6l80 upgrade.... with my old trans I was running 11.3@118mph in the 1/4 mile.....with this new trans will i run quicker times?

You might gain a tenth or two with your new tranny.
If you want faster times get a higher stall torque converter while that tranny is out. Best bang for your buck. Then come on out to the races in my sig. |

Had the stall cut and cleaned running a 3200 circle d .....
well I know the engine makes the power but you do need to transfer it to the wheels.... the best time at the track 11.3 my trans was slipping so Imsure I will have faster et's..... I was just curious if there would be any other benefits other than being able to beat the snot out of it......lol Last edited by BowenSS1; 09-29-2012 at 10:17 PM. |
