Yellow grease on car?

I am on my second 2012 SS. IOM. On the newest car there is a thick grease on many areas of the car. The door latches, around the strut towers, the hood hinges, the trunk hinges. This was not on the first car. It looks sprayed on. Anyone else have this? How do you get it off?

grease on moving parts?

seriously though, it's perfectly normal. in fact, hate to break it to you, but it's probably on your seat rails too. the grease is yellow because that's what color it actually is when it's new and fresh. it's dirt and grime that cause it to turn black.

Maybe they forgot to put it on your first car in the assembly line.

that sounds right. it should be thick, not thin like an oil. it's like that so it won't run.

I think this is a Canadian conspiracy. They are sad that their country is pathetic.

Ever see the 1980 movie "Used Cars?" Sounds like you bought a used taxi.
Seriously, though, it sounds like someone just greased the hinges and other similar items at some point, probably as some part of those xxx-point inspections they always claim to do.

Everyone can resume their international pissing match now.

Can't we all just get along? A Texan slamming a Canadian, interesting.

I like both of your countries, you are both the USA's closest allies, please, besides needing a friend, we need both your fricking oil.

Thank you.

Feel free to clean the excess grease off the hinges if it bothers you that much. Most auto parts stores sell stuff that can cut through grease. BTW you said this was your second car, what was wrong with the first one?
