Quality Control

Does anybody know at what interval cars go thru quality control?
I sure hope mine is not selected because it will delay delivery!

Sorry, order and wait!!!! It's better to endure the QC than to get a flawed vehicle---no??

Welcome to the waiting room.

My car is supposedly in transit. I have a vin 12997. I just don't want the dreaded quality control were the car sits in limbo for a month.

QC

I cancelled my order last week after I found out from the dealer that 4,000 Camaros were going back to the factory for "an issue". It was ordered the first day and first allocation from the dealer. Was made on April 4th and still not here with no end in sight. All the fun out of it and worry what the problems are all about.

Not that this is any consolation, but as far as I can tell, mine is still in QC...VIN #936.

This is actually starting to get a bit perturbing. :(

"Chevygirl1" said something to me a few days ago about a large number of cars in a QC hold up. She seemed to be concerned for the people that were in that group would have to wait a while. You might PM her and ask for the details. I don't know any more about that, sorry.

Ahem.... Hi, my name is 2Scoops and I'm also stuck in QC.

It's been one week since I entered the black hole, but I've now accepted the fact that this is a GOOD thing. For those of us with cars in QC, we won't have to worry about some of the production issues that others may experience. We are the elite. Our cars will be gone over with a fine toothed comb to ensure quality of the highest standards. Yes, it WILL delay delivery, but WTF, it's just a few more weeks. Besides, the rumor is that they're gonna pump them out after 10 days anyway.

Thanks for your support.

From what I read they are releasing 2000 or so cars in the next days which was last week or so. Not every car goes through QC unless it was ID as having a problem they will QC a whole lot number of them. The ones that got stopped were all low pre-order numbers. I would think if there isnt an exisiting problem they would randomly select cars to go in there
