Am I hurting the longevity of my SS

I've only added a solo axle back exhaust and a CAI cold air intake. I just want to make sure I'm not doing any long term damage to this beauty?

Solo as in....one single muffler with dual exhaust pipes? Like a 2004 GTO?

And there was a time when the two people above where asking how to connect a cold air intake. Everyone starts somewhere, yet people act like they came out of their mother and disassembled a big block in their crib.

The only possible thing that could cause damage is if the filter is too highflow and doesn't trap dirt that well. You can easily test this in a couple of thousand miles. Pull the cai tube off at the throttle body side and swipe your fingers around on the interior wall of the tube. You can also swipe the front of the throttle body blade. Without a good catch can you may feel a slight oily film, but if you feel grit then that is a different story. I always check this when I'm messing around under the hood.

Just the opposite, your engine now has a more efficient intake and exhaust with better filtration. You have absolutely nothing to worry about, other than perma-grin and speeding tickets

Jumping a new guy's nuts for asking questions.... I wish I could have been born knowing everything about everything. OP, enjoy the car. That exhaust will surely put a big smile on your face.
