triple digits and let off with a warning? Either the speed limits out there are unbelievably hi or the cop really liked the car and understands the feeling when in one.

I was pulled over on Oct 2nd for going 52 in a 35mph zone (Lakeshore Dr in Grosse Pointe for those familiar with Detroit area). I was boxed in for over a mile by some lady in a minivan going 30mph next to a box truck. The driver in the box truck started to speed up and I saw a hole so I got into the right lane, sped up, and merged back over. I was immediately slowing down as soon as I got in front of the lady because I know not to go too fast through there, but the officer got me on radar as I was merging back into the left lane. He was on a motorcycle going the opposite direction so I didn't see him until the lights went on.

Thankfully he was really friendly and we joked about it. I was truthful when he asked why I was going so fast and told him the whole story - he responded with "Well with a fast car like this, I can imagine it didn't take long to get to that speed..." After he wrote the ticket out, he came back and said "I have a recommendation for you..." I laughed and said "Slow down?" He laughed so hard and then said "Well, yeah, but take this to court and ask for no points, you won't have any problem getting that." He only wrote me for 40 in a 35mph so it was only a 5-over ticket. His station's computer was down so he couldn't check my driving record but had he checked I think he would have given me a verbal warning since I was so honest and friendly with him. When I told him about being boxed in he blurted out "God I hate that..."

Still sucked getting it... especially since I got pulled over and given a verbal warning the week before for going 47mph about one city block before the speed limit went from 35mph to 45mph further down on the same road (and different city). Still beats taking I75 and I94 home from downtown Detroit, though....

This was coming back from C5Fest II in Arizona !! All 3 of us got pulled over by Texas DPS for not having front plates. He let us go with a Warning and a Nice Picture !!

Some states they can clock you on the move. PA. they can't

Most likely. I however, met the coolest cop ever doing triple digit speeds here in Cali. Got popped for 115 in a 70 in Needles, California of all places lol the middle of freaking no where. Gave me a ticket for 89 in a 70 to keep me right below the cutoff for excessive speed which is 20+ over the limit. That was 5 years ago. Haven't done triple digit speeds on a public road since then.

When they are blue they are illegal. I have Colorshifting halos and the white I have programmed for driving has a slight bluish tint. He said they were too blue in his opinion.

yea i know usually blue and red lights r illegal because of their the cop lights but ive scene the ones you can switch colors and thought that would b ok as long as you have them on the white when ur driven. maybe ill just get HID'S idk what i wanna do yet
