Pin pushed in in connector. Help needed!!

I'm hoping someone has a solution to my problem. Long story short, I was plugging a wiring harness into a plug and accidently pushed in one of the 4 pins on the plug. I was able to pull the pin out but whenever I try to make the connection no matter how gently I do it, that pin pushes back in. I tried prying open the female receiving end of the harness to make it easier to go in, but so far no luck. Does anyone have a suggestion of how I can freeze that pin so it stays in or is there something I can use to lubricate it? I've used bulb grease before, but wasn't sure if it would make my problem worse. Thanks for the help!

Ben

Try super glue or a small dab of hot glue from the back
