Getting a TVS 2300 Now I'm lost

Getting a TVS 2300 and trying to find out what needs to be done to use it. I have Ported heads,Cam,LT,C.A.I.,Stall 412hp. What I'm trying to find out is what do I need to upgrade?

If I just install it and set it up like it comes and get a tune do i need to upgrade the Fuel pump, injectors?

If I want to make 575/600 hp what needs to be changed?

I've read a lot of post but just get more confused.. Thanks for any help

What are you confused about. You will hear the same thing in this thread as every other regarding your setup. Upgrade your fuel pump, injectors, get a good tune, order your next set of tires and call it a day

You see people using the stock pump with the MSD on it, people using the Zl1 pump then the dual pump, I don't want to buy a 900 fuel pump if I don't need one.

From what I have read if you are looking to stay around 600 rwhp the ZL1 pump will be just fine. Everyone is going to have their own opinion but I have heard/read good things about the ZL1 pump. If you decide to increase HP a little more down the road you can always add a BAP. This is advice I pass along to you from what I have read, not what I have done. I am staying at 500 rwhp for the time being so I am just sticking with the stock fuel pump and TVS 2300 injectors.

I have done this on my car, you have quite a few things to consider. First if you want to be in the 600 RWHP range you will need a fuel pump, the ZL1 should work at this level. You most likely will need larger injectors than come with the Maggie. I think it comes with 53# injectors you most likely will need 65# injectors. If you CAM is a blower CAM then you are fine if it was ground as a normally aspirated CAM then you need to get a blower CAM everyone will have a different recommendation on a CAM, but you need a blower CAM something like a LG G5XB. You will probably need to drop to a 3.4" Maggie pulley to get to the 600 mark, so plan on upgrading the belt tensioner at a minimum, you most likely will have belt slip with the 6 rib belt. While you may already have them you need stronger rear axles for 60 RWHP too.

Easiest way to hit 600rwhp with your setup is to add the ZL1 fuel pump, a set of good injectors (65# or larger) and a set of OD cogs. I don't have head work done and I'm sitting at 9.5 pounds of boost and just a tad under 650rwhp with a manual transmission. Depending on your cam, you could be a little lower boost wise.

The OD cogs will keep you from getting belt slip and give it the sound it should have had originally. When your ready to up the boost down the road, you can get a smaller pulley and avoid the belt slip issues that come with it as long as possible.

Will your stall work with the SC?

Then obviously you will need a tune and a set of tires on order.

Everyone I talk to tells me I need the LPE Dual pump, ID850 injectors, What injectors were people using before the ID850's? That's close to 2 grand just to get the fuel to it. Then add the COG and Pulley.. Guess I just wasn't aware the TVS2300 was setup for stock cars out of the box.

As for the Stall mine flashes to 3800 so I will have to change the stall, would be to hard to try and hook on that.

That is still Cheaper than pistons and broken rods.

Cheap out on the fuel supply and have your Shovel and speedy dry ready to pick up your motor.

At 560 RWHP (LS3) you can just follow my recipe for my JRE 560 RWHP package that makes 505 RWHP on Auto cars.

At 540 RWHP and above on an L99 you need the Parts I recommended.

Ted.

Im a little concerned about what I read in bold. These should not be yielding only 412rwhp!

I'm not saying your trying to mislead me. I know the list you gave me would be the best route. Just hard to wrap my head around the prices.

Had it on 2 dyno's, same numbers. Not sure if the stall is hurting the numbers or not, or the 22's, But It's running with some of the higher HP cars at the track. Best time being 7.49 @92.82 1.62 60ft..
