Factory rally stripes kit made up of 4 part numbers

By the time I finally decided that I wanted to add white rally stripes to my order, it had moved to 3000 so it was too late to get them on the window sticker. So, I stopped by the parts department at the dealer this morning and had them price out the stripes for me.

Now from GMPartsDirect.com, it appears there are multple part numbers and pieces for the parts of the kit. Anyone know what part #6 is used for?

92225448 driver's side hood center stripe (#2) (white)
92225449 passenger's side hood center stripe (#3) (white)
92225452 rear compartment lid center stripe (#4) (white)
92225458 rear send spoiler upper stripe (#5) (white)

Well why not get them custom painted? Atleast investigate and compare prices!

And the GM ambuguity continues. Well, from the IPB drawing, it would appear #6 is for the rear of the spoiler, but we all know that isn't correct. Why did you omit #1 which appears identical to #4? That's one F'd up drawing. So, all I can tell you is if each section is broken up into 2 pieces - hood, deck and spoiler, 6 total pieces makes sense. Beyond that, you'd better ask GM, buddy.

EDIT: Strange too that it's shown that way since the GMPP catalog calls out one P/N - 92225521 for the whole package.

#6 appears that it could be the "rear black-out panel"?
or perhaps that was what the part would have been the lip of the trunk IF they had continued the stripes down past the spoiler (ie bumblebee and older Camaros)?

That option is still there. I already have a quote from the dealer's body shop to do the painted stripes ($1600 for clear just over the stripes, $1800 for clear over stripes and entire hood/trunk/spoiler).

I was originally going the painted route but decided to hold off and go with vinyl because I just couldn't decide between black and white stripes. I didn't want to get it painted and end up not liking it. That would have been a costly mistake. If I didn't like the color with vinyl, it's just some time to pull them off after letting them heat up in the summer sun.

For now, I'm not doing anything - told the dealer to just deliver it like I originally ordered it - without stripes. I figured I had better take all the problems I'm having with getting the vinyl stripes for my car as a sign that I probably should not do anything with stripes right now.

I was trying to figure out the individual part numbers because I don't like the stock stripes on the trunk and spoiler. I was going to get two sets of trunk stripes and use the second one to wrap the spoiler (like Bumblebee) and then drop down the back of the trunk a couple of inches.
