Hagerty thinks Camaro is a top 5 remake
The gen 5 Camaro is predicted to be a modern classic according to Hagerty. I concur, the Camaro styling is brilliant. Take care of them now and they will take care of you later.

I agree. No one ever thought those ol' boats from the 50s would EVER have value but look at 'em now.

Take Two: Five great automotive remakes
Rob Sass October 15, 2012 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Remakes are tough to pull off (as anyone who has ever seen the Steve Martin version of “The Pink Panther” or Gus Van Sant’s version of “Psycho” can attest). The auto industry, however, has done its share of good remakes (think the George Clooney version of “Ocean’s Eleven”). Here are some favorites destined to be future classics:

But none of those cars had any of the electronics cars of today have. Plus the fact they have already built more Gen 5 Camaros than all of the top cars from the 50's combined. ![]() I do not see any current "mass produced" car from today gaining the type of "collector status" you refer too in your lifetime.

I have a feeling all these modern computer cars are going to be nitemares to maintain when they get 20-30 years old, look at any loaded car from the 80-90's power windows, air ride systems, carbs & TBI systems all have problems

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Au...uction_Figures In 1955 alone (a good year) the big three produced 6,637,660 passenger cars, with Chevrolet producing over 1.7 MILLION passenger cars. Chevrolet alone from 1950 to 1959 produced 13,419,048 passenger cars. I know you were just kidding around though (smilie face) .
