Looking to invest in subs
So far 'm looking at two options.
1) http://www.wishlist.com/ubrimah/christmas/ plus maybe an enclosure for the amp or 2) http://********.com/Chevrolet-GMC-Su...w-clone-1.html Price wise the Jl set up is about $468 or $548 with the amp enclosure and the ******** setup is $575. I've read in several places that the jl 10w3v3 is one of the best subs out there and overall the setup is a bit cheaper but I would love some insight from you guys. |

The links you provided don't give much information on the particular subs/amps your looking at so I can't help you much with specifics. However you are comparing two pretty different things. The JL is a 10" where as the the Kicker is a 12". The 10" is going to hit a higher range of bass than the 12". Also, JL is known for crisp, clean sound; it is a very good brand if that's what your looking for but you will get more bass from a Kicker. So the better option really depends on the amount and range of bass your looking for.

It depends on what you want really. If u want loud boomy bass, then the 12 will outperform the ten in that regard. If you're looking for clean crisp bass, the w3 is a decent option in that regard. But it will be better than the kicker if you're looking for clean
