Why don't you search the threads and see which ones you like. There are tons of pics and posts in regards to this. It's real simple, if you wanna go cheap route then get springs, if you wanna go correct route then get coilovers.

I believe you're the guy I talked to about Mid-Florida CC. Well I also have an RS and have installed PFADT lowering springs. They drop the car about 1.25". This is the best picture I have, although I will be at the next club meet if you're going to be.
The car has settled more as this was taken immediately after I installed them.

Try Hotchkiss, BMR and Pedders. All have around a 1" drop, I have Pfadt springs and my struts/shocks are done. Going back to stock because it rides like garbage Just my .002

Same thing happened on my Evo when I went the spring route. It doesn't matter who's springs you get. They all do the same thing with minor variations in drop measurements, over time your stock struts wear out. Save your money and get Coilovers.

1 inch drop shouldnt hurt your struts and shocks, 1.25" and bigger does it seems.Alot of cars with alot of miles on springs and shocks are fine, others no. With most cars I dont think we have alot of feedback on premature shock failure yet. I'm doing Hotchkis 1" springs, same as that were on my 2010 LT.At a good performance shop install rates can be 4-500 to install, performance align and time the bush's, others as low as 300 or so. Spring prices are 250-300. BC coilovers will add another 550 or so to those prices overall. Bedders or Pfaht much higher

If you're spending 850 to get springs and have them installed than you're paying way to much money during one of those transactions.
