Paint My Midnight Silver Wheels?

This is a "very bad photoshop" of what I will want to do with my RS wheels as soon as my car arrives. This look will be simular to JR's look except based on teh current RS wheels and will likely cost me much less to perform.

Let me know what you think. Does anyone know if dealers would consider painting the rims for a price and how much would you guess? I know the RS MS are painted so it would only tempt me that much more!

I'd get them powdercoated black (cause it will hold up better and last longer) and then have a pinstriper paint your orange on there.

I agree with the powdercoat option, I co-own a custom paint and fab shop and my advise is if you want it to last for any amount of time you should powdercoat the wheels.
More than likely the dealer will pass on painting the wheels because they cannot duplicate the process the factory uses to paint the wheels which is the same reason they will chip or flake easily. Hope that helps.

I agree with the powdercoating option over painting, but not sure I am feeling the idea. Just my opinion. Hell, it may turn out awesome...I just can't see it now.

Ok I'm gonna ask some funny questions.

So who should I turn tofor Powdercoating, how much would I be looking at and how long do you think that process would last? If it seems like reality, I will make it soo!
