LS3 Dyno'd this morning - 375 whp / 385 trq

I went to get a baseline tune this morning so I can see the improvements after I install headers and have a dyno-tune done in the next week or 2. I wish I had done this before any mods, but I didn't.

It was 44 degrees outside and I'm pretty certain it was at least that cold in the building.

2012 LS3 - 7,360 Miles

The only performance mods are:
Cat-back Exhaust - Stainless Works Retro
Cold Air Intake by CAI, Inc.

(stock manifold no headers, no tune)

On a Dynojet at Next Level Performance in Altamonte Springs, FL
Run 1 - 375.64 HP 385.74 Torque
Run 2 - 374.76 HP 380.88 Torque

Any thoughts?

Rob

Good Baseline!

Wish more folks would do a BEFORE for their Before and After reviews more often.

And you can just cut and paste the url of the YouTube video you want. It automatically overlays it as a playable video on the UBB.

Good luck in your mission to mod!

As many have said on any given dyno on any given day your results may vary. My first dyno at 4000 miles was 365 rwhp and 369 rwtq. Then at 12500 miles for the base line results prior to the cam/bolt-on install it was 379 rwhp and 384 rwhp. The after results were 461 rwhp and 440 rwtq for the mods in my sig. All dyno runs on a dyno jet with decent air (temps in the 60's).

So my second baseline results were a little higher than most for a stock LS3 but my after results were right in line with the expected results Vengeance gets for the cam/bolt-on package I chose.

In the end it's all just numbers. What counts for me are the grins and giggles as I rip through the gears especially with the cutouts open. Ye Haw!
