Arrow ADVICE ON AXEL BACK L99

I'm thinking about doing an axel back exhaust to improve the sound on my L99. It would have to help to remove the mufflers. Anyone out there do just an axel back? I could use some good advice.I don't want it to be real loud, just loader than stock.

Go with the Loudmouth II I love the sound!! I had Midus put them on due to not having tools. Would not have them do other work, but close to house and its a matter of following directions to place on. No means to jack car up. I have the L99 as well

Solo Performance axlebacks will not drone with the L99.

I've been asking the same question and doing a lot of searching.

Solo. Corsa. Noweeds.

I've seen posts from people saying either solo or corsa don't drone or have afm issues and some saying they do have drone. When my l99 car gets here, i'll do one of 2 things: either cut off the mufflers and have a shop make some tailpipes (shouldn't cost too much)... or order the noweeds set up... Nice thing about the noweeds is that its quiet when u want, load when you want it... and you can even set it to some middle position... have heard no issues with it.

I have a friend that says the magnaflow axle back does not have ny odd noises... I need to hear that to believe.

I like the solo its mellow it doesnt drone but you do hear the afm I dont know about the other systems but Im guessing most of them will have some afm noise. drone and the afm noise are 2 diferent things. still anoying tho. the only way out is to tune than the solo is drone free

My experiance has been that any axleback on an L99 is very quiet due to the huge center muffler. I had one customer scream and cuss at me because they bought a Borla Atak axleback, put it on an L99, and it is way quieter than Borla's video (which is an M6 car with full catback). He even had his wife revving the car while he held the phone to the tailpipe....he was not happy. I would recommend a full catback whatever you do.

These have been very popular for us and the L99 guys.

Doug Thorley AxleBack/Delete Kit

It definitely "loudens" up the car but you still have that shipping container of a "resonator" below the car that keeps it from being overwhelming.

Let us know if we can get ya squared away!
