Anyone know a good place in the Bay Area to take your Camaro for work other than he dealer?

I have tried Goodies Speed Shop, but they have little to no experience working on the gen 5 Camaros and I always seem to know more than thy do.

You have a few options.

TPS Motorsports - Average shop rate
Borelli Motorsports (across from Goodies, does not have dyno) - High shop rate
Synergy Motorsports (Rick does great work, but most don't like his personality) - High shop rate
Blu808 (Great engine work, and fabrication, no dyno) - Low shop rate

I took my old 2000 camaro SS before i moved outta Cali to Force Fed Performance up in Sac, they did really good work. The guys name in Keith and he's got a dyno.

Keith is long gone, but the shop is still there.
Abel Cheverolet in Rio Vista does good work and will install mods even though they are a dealer.
Synergy is also very good. Rick is a good guy.

So did Keith finally move to Texas? Is billy running the shop now? That sucks I know some people didn't like Keith but I though he was great and very knowledgeable

If you're in San Jose, go to Blu808 for sure. Luke, the owner knows our cars inside and out (he did a complete tear down of a 2010 Camaro for Formula Drift). I've been taking my car there for 2 years and have gotten everything on my car done there. He's the only person I would trust to work on my car. He has been working on LS engines for years! He has some pretty slick builds he's done, 1000hp TT 2010 camaro (mine), 800hp MR2, 750hp s14 240sx, and worked on 99% of the 5th gen camaros in the area.

Courtesy Chevrolet did all my mods for the same price I was quoted by different speed shops.

Blu808 - Luke the owner is very knowledgable and legit. I would recommend him 100% . He has been great with the mods I've had him install on my car.

Back 5-6 years ago Rick at Synergy did the custom tune on my 02 Z28 and he is a cool guy. Did a great job then and saw him a few months ago. He is a straight shooter as well.
