fog light help

Got this kit didnt really come with harness http://www.automotivelightstore.com/P13W.aspx was it supposed too or is the resistor and everything in the bulb? I've tried this once before myself without a resistor and could never get all the lights to stay on. Does this kit have everything I need?

I have fog lights already i dont need that kit i just want them to both be on. I was wondering if the wires they gave me which was those simple t-taps is the harness. Because I did that myself and it didnt work. Is there a resistor in the bulb itself?

The bulbs have no resistor, that single wire they sent you is crap.

here you go. Just get this harness. Has a resistor or diode or w/e it needs to keep the backfeeding issue down. Its plug and play, quality. Installs in 5 secs. http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...ts/drl-harness

AAC and IJDMtoy, etc have a "harness" which is just a wire and some t-taps, they dont all protect your lights/BCM like the Gen5 one does

45$ may be more than you wanted to spend, but it is good for a lifetime, no splicing, and you can pull it off if you ever need to.

Send it back and never buy anything from AAC again. They don't sell anything remotely quality.

Is this just a general statement or have you actually had a bad experience with AAC?

I've had many issues with AAC and their "quality" products.

I find that AAC is hit or miss, seems to be like 60% good / 40% bad reviews on the forum.

IJDMtoy seems to be like 25% good / 75% bad

V-Led seems to be 80% good / 20% bad

You are going to have issues with cheap asian electronics, especially when the products are fairly new.

Customer service can usually make up for this, since they know what they are selling is DOA fairly often

When I can finally afford more upgrades for my '13 LS (part time worker and student) I'll be getting the fog light harness and other stuff from ya. Everyone rants and raves about the harnesses you develop and sell.
