Paint on Rim Peeling

So I was filling up my tires yesterday and noticed on my back right RS rim the paint on the side of the wheel is peeling. Not chipped, literally peeling. There is a pretty decent sized chunk already gone and you can see it peeling around the area more.

Now mind you, this is on a 2012 RS with 5600 miles on it and 9 months old. This seems crazy to me, but has anybody else seen this? I'm assuming Chevrolet will stand behind their product and replace the wheel?

Note: This also happens to be the same wheel that has I believe it is 8 weights on it. I've never in all my time seen a wheel need 8 weights on it to be balanced from the factory. I think this wheel was shot from the factory, just my opinion.

You should drop back by the dealer you bought it from and point it out to them. They should fix it under your cars paint warranty. Your owners manual will have a section on that you can wave under the service managers nose in case he tries to say you chipped it and then it peeled.
