Interest in Winthrop trip this year?

So, I'm going to try to do this a little later than early May like I've done the first 3 years...mainly because Route 20 has been closed very late into spring the last 2 years.

I'm probably going to plan this for the weekend of May 25th/26th. I know this is also the weekend of the PNWCC monthly meeting, but there really aren't any other free days there at this time of year.

Before I go too far into planning this, I wanted to check the interest in this trip this year.

I'm interested!

We have plans for Memorial Day weekend but, we may be able to make changes if we need to. Rio Vista Inn will most likely require a two night stay over that weekend. When do they do the 49er days? We would definately need to make the run on a different weekend than the 49er days.

Sorry I missed the one last year. But, we had to take delivery of Scarlet. (see pic below)

Not this year Dennis. We just traded the camaro for a svt raptor. I am most certainly not keeping up in the corners now. Straight line yes, corners nooooo.

Nice boat Mike!

I didn't look at holidays, so didn't realize it was Memorial Day. May have to reconsider on that because it'd be pretty busy over there then.

Still kind of trying to pick a date. I had been looking at the PNWCC calendar, and surprisingly, that weekend was kind of empty.

Let me think a little more on the dates.

I'll be heading down to Arizona in early April, so I may even move this in to early June.

We're planning on going to the Sturgis Camaro Rally so we're saving our pennies to put towards that road trip. So far we have 13 (at last count) Camaros going along.

:( Sorry to hear about that.

I am interested in doing something, but due to my own relationship developments, I don't think that I will have much time/money to put towards the trip till after May by my current schedule.

I had a similar problem last year when I did a car show in the spring. At first people didn't want to sign up because the weather is unpredictable, and then because it ended up being a gorgeous day everyone decided they didn't want to go to a small car show.

There's a 1 in 5 chance I'll be switching jobs. If that happens probably not. I wanted to go the past 3 years but the wifes plans always got in the way. The daughters moving to Spokane soon, might be a good time for a road trip!

As always this will be somewhat informal and just fun.

Heck, I no longer have my Camaro...but wouldn't mind keeping this going becaue I plan on getting another one (Hopefully a ZL1, but time & income will decide that). I always try to make a trip to Winthrop though, and it'd be fun to get everyone together

Always like going to Winthrop. Nice drive to say the least. Love the sun mountain lodge for the view and the dinner.

The East and West side crews are 5 miles apart on SR20. The highway should be open in a week or two.

The reopening of the North Cascades is currently scheduled for 1 p.m. next Tuesday, April 16, barring unexpected weather or equipment issues.
