FS Magnaflow 16850 exhaust and CAI intake

I have a 2012 2SS 6 speed manual Camaro. I have less than 4000 miles on the car. I put this exhaust on in September 2012 but picked up a new Corsa exhaust instead. The Magnaflow exhaust has only a few hundred miles on it. Same goes for the Cold Air Inductions intake. I took that off because I picked up a K&N intake instead. I live in Union County New Jersey. Price for the exhaust is $400 and the intake is $200. Pictures shown are from manufactures websites. The intake has sold and I can ship the exhaust but the buyer will have to pick up the shipping cost.

What piece of shrink wrap, and why did you switch to the Corsa?

There is a rubber hose that attaches to the intake and to the vent tube that goes back to the valve cover. The piece of shrink wrap is used to secure the rubber hose to the vent tube. I have used the shrink wrap on my vent tube and it is a one use deal. If you do a search on the internet for cold air inductions and look under cold air intakes you can download the directions on how to install the intake and it shows where the shrink wrap is used. I switched to the Corsa because I did not want to hear anything inside the car. The Magnaflow sounds great at startup and while driving however for me it gets a little too loud inside the car at 75-80 mph. Plus when I would let off the gas I would get a little burble which sounded like it was right under the seat. I still hear the same burble with the Corsa but it is all the way at the back of the car and does not bother me at all. I need to keep it as quite as I can for when I have my wife and children in the car with me. Unfortunately I am getting my 40's and I do not like things as loud as I used to.

I'm not local but did mean to type Magnaflow 15090? Just curious as I've thought about that exhaust for me, I'd like mine to sound meaner. I'm running long tubes, cats and stock h pipe and mufflers. L99.

I think the long tubes will make a big difference in the sound. I am still running the stock iron exhaust manifolds and it was loud enough for me but that is a very subjective issue
