Rattle lower trunk area
I've discovered a horrible rattle around the rear lower valance (spl). It only happens when the car is at idle or the rpms are low. It transfers into the cabin. At first I thought it was my exhaust but that checked out... Plenty of clearance the whole way through. Anybody else have this problem or a fix?:(

Stock gears. Royal purple max gear fluid. I don't believe it's the rear.
It sounds like the exhaust is making something rattle below the trunk.

Hmmm could it be the battery jostling around?

I'm having this same issue, recently just started sounds like a heat shield or something is loose almost, kind of a metal on metal sound, usually can't hear it at higher RPMS. Going to take it back to the dealer this week to have it looked at.

I dunno if it's the same but I have a rattle on my brand new car. I thought mine was the Dual Modes.
but man I hate it.. sounds so bad. taking it back in tonight told a sales guy when I bought it it was doing it and he said " they all do that" I have talked to many people and googled it. and VERY few are having issues. so It's going back.

Probably broke a baffle inside the muffler. Very common. I have replaced several exhaust systems for this concern. (stock exhaust). On more than just camaros as well. Usually happens under load at 1300-1600rpms. Sounds like a heat shield is loose. Sometimes you can bang on the muffler with your fist and hear it rattle.
