Dyno Questions ...

Going to a dyno day this weekend ...

#1 What mode or PTM number is best ?

#2 What is the safest way to strap the rear, so there are no problems with the ride height sensor rods ?

Thanks

1. traction control/stability control off. Make sure both lights are on.

2. any experienced dyno operator should be able to figure that out.

Ya it shouldnt be a problem. You may have code ABS lights on after the runs because the car will pick up the rear tires are spinning, but the fronts are not. By the time you get out of the parking lot, they should turn off.

The ZL1 has some really nice places for the straps on the subframe. The dyno operator will have no issue there.
Turn all of the TC nannies off

Thanks, that's what I was most concerned with. With the several reports with the sensor rods getting bent, I would feel better double checking the setup.

Where are the sensor rods your refering to and what do they look like? I'm going to the dyno in about 2 weeks. What about the air pressure in tires, any certain PSI?

Go through this thread, he broke both rods while others have had theirs get bent.

Tire pressure should just have to be at 32psi

Thanks, will look under car to see if I can remove them so don't have to worry about them getting broke.

That was not strapped down correctly. Not all dyno operators were created equally I guess.
The best strap location in more inbound towards and just in front of the pumpkin.
