Lightbulb Multiple J-Pipes

So I was considering getting J-Pipes for my new exhaust since I'm experiencing some drone on the highway and was just wondering if anyone has ever tried having multiple J-Pipes to cancel out a wider range of sound? I tried searching around but from what I saw there has never been any speculation as to what would happen if you had multiple J-Pipes to cancel out multiple frequencies. My thinking is that the one J-Pipe would reduce the drone at a specific hertz while another J-Pipe would work at another hertz and if they were close enough to the same hertz they would cancel out the drone twice as well wherever it overlaps. Of course I'm no physicist so there's a good chance that this is wrong but what do you guys think?

Sounds good in theory but I would say it's probably going to wind up being over kill. Added weight and system complexity are usually things to avoid.

I have no basis to place this on, but I would bet it will kill your sound to have multiple J pipes...just my thought, I have not heard of it either....

Let us know how it works....

Well I'm probably not going to do it myself since I'm pretty sure I can knock out the drone with one j pipe for my system but I was just wondering and wanted this for other's reference since I've never seen a topic on this subject!

I have run into the same problem, I want more sound with less drone. I had a G8 and took off the resonators and mid muffler and added Magnaflow mufflers. The drone was really bad and I went through multiple exhausts and finally went to J's with my local shop. It all depends on the length of the pipes, our first test wasn't long enough and the second try worked perfectly with a VERY little amount of drone with no mufflers.

Any details on how it works? I'm very interested! Haha is it supposed to be better than a j pipe?

Like she said, "It's all about the correct length to hit the right spot."

Oh well I was talking about the O pipes a few people were mentioning! I've done lots of reading on j pipes have been sold but I haven't heard of o pipes, how they work, or how effective they are!

I would think a J-pipe would work better because you can build them to be adjustable (and they should take up less space). The length of the tubing has everything to do with killing the frequency that produces drone in the vehicle. When you change anything in your exhaust set up you can effect that. On the J-pipe you can adjust the length as needed.

Mine are Adjustable. I just went with the recommended length to kill the drone in the rpm range I had it in. Remember if the table that has been posted up says x length for say 1800 rpm drone, it is +- 3-400 rpm of that also, or really a mid point rpm.I had drone from 1500 to 2400 with the outlaws, set it for the 1800-1900 range and the drone is gone in the entire range I had issues with.
