Were these originally some sort of special order? I have Solo's, been on their site many times, and didn't think they made/sold cat bodies only and didn't know of any that were for the V8 & V6.

I've never seen Solo high flow cats that look like that. What are these?

Yes they were special order with resonator delete.

Guess I'm still confused. Only the V6 Solo's normally come with resonators but they all come with midpipes that come down from the exhaust manifolds, never just the cat body alone.

Can you take a clear picture of the cats number stamp for people to see? I know what it looks like. It seems that others aren't trusting that they are SOLO's.

There is no reason SOLO wouldn't sell just the cats and extenders (also seen in the picture) for custom setups.

And charge $450 without midpipes or resonators; still doubtful but not my problem.

You add a 4 short pieces of pipe and two flanges to what is shown and you have the LS3 SOLO mid pipes which are $575.

Resonators would be a part of a catback on a V8. Edit I see the V6 does have resonators, but now we are at $700.

First off, my apologies to the OP; never meant to hijack his thread. But... I wasn't the only person with some basic knowledge of Solo products that saw it and had questions (yourself included). Most people on here usually try to get about $350-$400 for lightly used LS3/L99 assemblies (midpipes, cats, flanges, O2 extenders). If someone wants to pay the OP about $400 for what we'll assume for now are genuine cat-bodies and extenders only that is between them and the OP and good luck to him with the sale.
