sooo angry right now

So, i have an inside garage that i share with a few people in my building, ikeep my camaro there and my daily driver on the street for obvious reasons . So i went to a car wash the other day, didn't like the way they cleaned it, so i re washed it myself by hand.yesterday i went into the garage to check something out and the car was fine.i then go to my garage today to drive to an appointment because my dd was in a good spot outside, and when i do my usual quick inspection of the car i noticed it was scratchef! Wtf, i keep it in a garage so that would not happen! My neighbor has not even told me anything, funny enough its the only neighbor i hold conversations with. Urg, no where is safe in this stupid city.

Can't see the pics if you posted some. How deep are the scratches? They may be able to be fixed with a little wetsanding.

they are not deep, just paint, is it something I could fix myself? It's mostly on the bumper, and it seems under my orange paint it's black, didn't expect that. Doesn't look like it was traded paint from the culprit

Quickly approaching 4 years with the car. Yesterday I went out and found black paint under the scratches. I was pretty happy.

lol

But for real, get a polisher and some Adams polishes. If they can buff out you will get them out with Adams.

There are other polishes for sure but Adams is the best as far as ease of use and understanding. And the Porter Cable polisher is dummy resistant.

Get you some good rubbing compound!(3M makes a good one) And after applying that, put some quality Cleaner Wax on it and it should come right out!(Zymol is what I used)

You sure it didn't happen at the car wash and you just didn't notice it when you washed it? I equate car wash mitts to 60 grit sandpaper since they probably only change or clean them once a year. They are notorious for scratching your paint.

The car wash scratched it. Should've washed it by hand in the first place.

Talk to the local dealerships. They will have a touch-up guy they use for all their cars...particularly used cars. These guys are usually amazing at airbrushing. Probably cost you less than a $100 and you'll never be able to see it. Unfortunately I have had my RH front bumper done 3 times...I didn't put in one of the scratches.
