Finally: pics of my black-on-black 2SS/RS

'Finally got a chance to detail the new ride and take some decent pics after a week and a half of rainy weather since picking it up. Unfortunately, I had to use a conventional camera, since my digital camera's charger is MIA, but some turned out pretty good (by the way, these were taken with the clear bra installed and some edges can be seen on the polished rim close-up, so don't freak out about the paint looking funny around the fenders)...

Thanks. I spent 5 1/2 hours Thursday night cleaning her up--wash/clay/scratch-remover coat/Klasse AIO/Pinnacle Sovereign. 'Looks much better in person than these disposable camera pics suggest. Fortunately, we finally got a 3-day break from the rain so I could enjoy a clean car. The work has paid off though. Today, we got a brief (~15-minute) downpour, then the sun and blazing heat came right back out. After it dried, the paint still looked clean and almost spotless!

I saw his car the other night, looked awesome for sure. Funny part is watching him walk around the car with a towel trying to get rid of the finger prints, LOL...

Yeah, it's a bit obsessive at times LOL, but I don't even bother when the weather makes it pointless. It was just nice to have a couple nice days to drive a clean, shiny car. When you've just detailed it, you kinda want to keep it looking that good as long as possible, if you know what I mean.

Car looks sexy. Black it a bugger to keep looking nice at all times. My last 2 cars were black never again.

That looks suh-weet. Have fun, and keep that towel on you all the time! That's the responsibility when you get a nice black car.

Thanks for the compliments. Those are the 20'' polished aluminum rims. The clear bra is only noticeable up close. I'll take the small imperfections in it over rock chips and new paint job down the road. I also keep a box full of rags and detailing products in the trunk at all times for quick touch-ups whenever and wherever I feel like doing them, haha.

Black is by far the best color for this car. Once it is clean you can't beat it, but it is a bitch to keep clean here in Cayman (so dam dusty). I had a black F150 and now have a black Denali and it's a pain to keep clean, one black vehicle is enough for me.

I really want a black one but something keeps telling me stick with the red.
