Creating this thread to get all Camaro owners or soon to be Camaro owners in the NY metro area (Five Boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk), to have a place to tell stories, ask questions, post pics and just plain talk about everything and anything Camaro.

i started a social group for LI Camaro enthusiasts...

to join, click on"Community, then click on:Social Groups, and there we are...

there is also a NY social group and i also started a NASCAR and Ladies group too...

count me in!!!...got my VIN 7085 on 5/19, ordered on 1/2/09 from a dealer/friend in Virginia...took delivery there and drove back to Long Island the next day...after a 300+ mile drive home, and 1000+ miles later, i have a permanent grin

plastered on my face day and night...

it will be good to see and hopefully, meet up with, other LI Camaro owners...so far, since i took delivery of mine, i have not seen ANY others yet...

would love to see what the car actually looks like driving down the road and also to find a central meeting place where we can all show our cars to each other and take pics to post on the forum...

I have seen a few on the road. There is no doubt that this car looks much better in person. I ordered a CGM 2SS RS through a friend of mine upstate. It should be here in mid July. Once this thread picks up steam and we have a variety of people from the area, we can certainly find a place to meet and show our cars.

Also picked up my CGM 2SS on Friday. Enjoying my 6AM drive from Queens to Suffolk everyday to beat the traffic

I go the other direction but take LIRR and save the Camaro driving for the weekend!
Hope the rain stays away for some of this weekend!

I was considering the white. It happens to look better in white then silver. Very sharp with the midnight silver wheels. I hope you got in early. They are not starting to produce White cars until July 13th. You might not see the car until after Labor Day Weekend. Good Luck.

No Problems with HB Chevrolet

I just took delivery of my Camaro SS for HB Chevy. I LOVE MY CAMARO SS. It went very smooth with no problems, they told me it would take 4-6 months from when I placed my order and it took 5 months to come in. My wife ordered it for me for Christmas. I did see the Red one when I was there and I wanted to buy it for my son, but HB can not sell it yet, they are using it as a show car to take orders off of. Before I placed my order with HB I did alot of shopping. Alot of dealers wanted over MSRP for the vehicle. Not HB Chevy, they are selling the Camaro for MSRP.
