Things im noticing from all the pictures of the camaro online...

Just to put concerns to rest I am doing my share of investimagating (yes i said that) the camaro pics online to point out things to put people at ease.

I will be updating this as i find out details.

#1) Red/Amber taillights
The red/amber taillights are going to be for Export only Camaros. This is evidenced by this picture taken with one of the four camaros in Austrailia on the carrier:

You can clearly see TWO red lenses on said camaro - both in the brake light and turn signal location.

That pic also shows, better than the unveiled pics that the trunk opening will indeed be larger than the concept was.

Yup, that exhaust tip sure is one detail that is nice even on the preproduction. Imagine how nice it will be off the showroom floor.

The enlargement of the trunk lid is probably the change from concept to production that I appreciate most (right up there with good mirrors.) One thing I hate about my Cobalt is how small the trunk lid is compared to the huge (for a compact) trunk it has. The Camaro's still looks a bit small, but that is to be expected. For the type of car it is, I think they did a good job making it more practical while still retaining the styling.

x2, i like that style of tip better then the concepts, i wasnt too big a fan of the "chromed" plastic/whatever surrounding the exhaust tip on the concept, but i really like the look of the polished tip on the pre-production

I wouldn't mind a bit bigger tip, or maybe even twin tips out each side. NOT something as big as the Concept, but maybe a little bigger.

I'D LOVE TO HAVE SIDEPIPES!!!

Some undercarraige computerized images surfaced a little over a year ago or so showing dual exhaust with either an x pipe or H pipe...can't remember which. Either way, we don't know for sure if it'll be built that way. We sure hope so!

And welcome to the site!

Heard that there will be a left hand/right hand variation for this car.... interesting...

^Yep...been discussed, but no prob. Supposedly, in Australia, any car that is LHD needs to show it for others to see. GM has said it's in their plans to export it to Europe, so RHD is most likely going to happen.
