mild vvt cam and tune with some headwork

mild vvt cam per my instructions to keep my stock converter. headwork done to finish off my current n/a needs

vvt cam grind specd and tune by Ryne Cunningham, mechanical work done by Mike at cms.
http://www.cunningham-motorsports.com/

headwork done by west coast heads
http://www.proheads.com/

cant recommend these 2 shops and their staffs enough...

excellent driveability, no surge, no pushing through brakes, crisp shifts in auto crisper shifts in sport and paddle.

heres the graph for those that are interested.

Nice. I laugh when some people suggest that head work doesnt add any power. Your numbers as well as mine and others suggest otherwise. Congrats

i guess it depends on who does it...lots of people port themselves with a dremel or send to a shop that doesnt have a clue. west coast has been around along time and is a racers dream.

thanks...l99 for the win

custom grind specd by ryne cunningham...i am not exactly sure if he wants me to share. i will ask him when he gets back from vacation. if your really interested you can call cunningham motorsports. dont know if its a curiosity thing or i want that thing

i will say it is really mild due to my stock coverter and all my requests/demands

Hell, you pulled what 80whp with that cam and heads package? That's pretty damn good for being able to use the stock converter. That's as good or better than many of the LS3 cams.

I got ya, I just finished putting in the TSP VVT2 and they do not broadcast those numbers either...i have not got it to a dyno yet because of salt on the roads. I was just curious to see what size cam you had to make those numbers. If possible PM me if not no big deal i am just trying to get an idea of what i might make!

So what all is done, heads, cam, full exhaust, cold air and a tune?

That would be like an 87rwhp gain for me. Must feel pretty good. Would love to see what it did at the drag strip.

if it requires that big of a stall the cam should be MUCH larger than mine.
