It would be hard to do it without it looking sloppy you know? I'm think of doing it as well and one idea I came up with was some sort of thin color tubing. Not sure if that would work either.

Tell your pin striper to put the wheel on something horizontal that rotates, spin the wheel as fast as he can and slowly lower the paintbrush to the point where you want the red line

However, I don't know if painting on top of powdercoating will adhere too well...

They sell Red vinyl tape for wheels if you don't want your TA to be permanent.

http://www.glsigns.com/catalog/produ...roducts_id=994

a few of the guys on the G37 forum uses this from what my brother tells me. Stays on very wheel if install correctly.

heyyy lol i suggested that to u in your other thread. imo automotive vinyl tape would be the best. when applied properly it looks good and will last. and if u ever get tired of the look just peel off. i had red pinstriping on my volk's last year and removed them this year for a different look im thinking of trying out blue this summer for a bit. mind u my volks are hyper silver and not black and the pinstriping looks wicked

It's too bad you didn't think of the stripe before. The time to do it would have been when you powder coated the black. Just so everyone is aware masking powdercoating is very different than liquid. The masking has to withstand the curing temperatures.

When we do rim stripes and we do quite a few, always liquid. Paint the full rim color first then then mask and paint the stripe color. Then you're ready for the powder clear. Using liquid first allows the ease of masking and painting, it also allows for a quik color sand of the ridge left from the tape. The other thing is powder is much thicker than liquid so if you go with powder color, powder stripe, and then powder clear you have a huge build up. Liquid color, powder sealer and you're golden.

The time attack stripe, to me, seems best suited for a wheel with a lip. It might look odd on a flange-less wheel.

I dunno, I think with certain lip-less designs, it could look nice as well.

just looking back at ur rims bro. i say dont put a stripe on them. u have the 19in rims that dont have a clear lip. the spokes extened to the tire with bumps. imo adding a pin stripe to them wont look clean at all.
