Just noticed I have (2) "third" brake lights

I have owned my 2013 Black 2LT with the RS package for about 2 months now. My Camaro has the Decklid Blade Spoiler (Dealer-Installed). Just noticed there is a "third" brake light in the Decklid Blade Spoiler and a "third" brake light in the back window. Should I disable one of them?

The more visible your brake lights are to those behind you the better.

The reason the spoiler comes with it is because the one behind the rear window can't be seen with it.

The correct, legal and technical term for the third brake light is CHMSL.

One brake light or one third brake light? Last I checked, all you need is two brake lights (this is Ohio law, though) and the third ones weren't mandatory as long as two illuminate.

I'd disable the window one. I think the extra brake looks stupid. Maybe it's just me.

All cars made after 1986 need the 3rd brake light.

Why in the hell would you unplug a safety item that can't POSSIBLY be offensive to you when you're driving the vehicle??

It can be offensive if it reflects the red off the higher spoiler.
