Question about Code 1100?
Can someone help me with this. What is the average time that your order stays at 1100? Does it have anything to do with priority. I have been at 1100 for about a month and my priority on my workbench page says priority 99.

No there is no average time. You will be at 1100 till your dealer gets allocation for your order. I have been at 1100 since Feb. and some guys on this board have been at 1100 since october. So sit back and relax its only been a month for you.

I am very patient but have been noticeing that alot of people that went to 1100 were only there for a cople days. I am prepared to wait every how long it takes. So the priority stays at 1100 until the dealer gets more allocation?? I ordered from Classic in Grapevine, Tx. The biggest dealership in the last couple years and I figured that they would get the most allocations and I would be able to get my quicker but I am just not quite sure how it all works.

Its all about allocation. You will stay at 1100 until your dealer has a allocation and uses it for your car.

If classic is a big dealer they probably got a lot of allocations and they probably already filled those. I will use me as an example, i ordered form City Chevrolet in NC big dealer and big corvette sales, they were given 30 allocations which is a large number. Now keep in mind these allocations could start filling up in october of last year and cars didn't start getting made till march. Well i ordered in Feb. and I am under the impression I was 31, so 1 spot out of original allocation meaning a longer wait. Now i didn't know this at the time until i started reading this site. If had known i might of shopped around but now I'm just waiting, its all I can do. I think the whole system sucks bunch of us preordered before the deadline and people ordering after the deadline have cars or have moved up futher than us, but thats a post war waiting to happen and I'm not trying to start it. I feel like little dealers or just dealers in general that didn't use their allocation up in the first several months should of had it revoked but thats probably me being selfish. But I mean if you have had open allocation for months and havent used it whats the point while other peoiple are waiting in a never ending line.

Both of our orders were placed with a dealership that has one allocation. So I would say "yes" to them being a smaller dealership.
I am in Boise, ID, and my parents are in Iowa. My dad is getting rather frustrated and is about to cancel. I keep telling him to hang in there, but it's getting hard for him to understand the whole allocation process. This isn't his first customer order he has placed, and has never seen anything handled this way. |

I talked to Classic yesterday and they were getting a bunch of allocations (around 40) but had 125 orders pending. Will be awhile if you order there but they are top notch.

They might have an allocation but have people in front of you... Best thing to do is just be patient and wait, re-order at another large dealer who has allocations and at which you would be far enough up in line to receive one or wait till next spring when there will be plenty of models on the lot for sale once all the preorder activity is closed out.

I also ordered from a large dealer in N Alabama. Their original allotment was 30. The day I placed my order I was number 34. I ordered on 5-4-09 and order went to 2000 on 6-9-09. Seems like process is moving along a little faster.

I just spoke with my salesman. I ordered on June 12, and just wanted to check status. He told me I was 17 on the list of NEW allocations, and he told me they would not get their new allocations until the end of the summer. WTF? (Sorry!). BUT, he did say that in the computer, I was only a few that had the MSRP posted because I don't have too many extras, and that since my color is not one too many are ordering (ABM), I could be accepted by GM sooner than those ahead of me. I told him that there are many on here who just ordered early June or late May and are at 3000 - 3400. Can't decide to jump ship and go somewhere else or wait!

I ordered at a smaller dealership on 2/24/09. They only had 2 allocations and their other order was on 10/13/08. I got a call today from the gsm at my dealer ship and he told me that my car just got pulled. I ordered a 2SS/RS IOM/IO. The other car is a 2SS/RS VR with white rally stripes no hurst shifter. I don't know why the other car wasn't pulled first. I had him take my CGM stripes off last week because I had read it might take longer to get the car. He said the other car is still at 1100 so I don't understand the process either. I'm excited about it being pulled but I know the other guy that ordered 10/13 has to be frustrated. Could it have anything to do with the stripes
the reason mine was pulled first. I did put a big deposit down, maybe that's why.
