Vertical Doors

So i was thinking about getting Vertical door hinges from vertical doors inc. but then realize that they are $1500.00.... this seems a little too much. anyone know why they are so expensive?? and those of you who do have them, did you install them yourself or have a shop do it?

i thought it was 1200 when i last checked.. these are direct bolton's made for the camaro.. you can buy cheaper ones for around 500 bucks off of ebay but you will have to weld them.. might not be perfect
i will look it to this more during summer

Heck if you get an authorize dealer they might can even be cheaper. 1200 installed would be great. Sure makes cleaning your door jams easier

I had Lupe do mine for me. Drove 16 hours from Nebraska to Texas and 16 hours home. He did great work and it was great to meet Lupe.

Just make sure you have a good reliable shop if you cant make it down to lupe. I live in Texas and drove 5 hours for him to do work on my car. (not verticle doors) He is very detailed oriented and makes sure everything is done right. If I lived closer to San Antonio no one else would ever touch my car but him
